Media Advisory/REMINDER: CMICR's Annual Pregnancy and Birth Conference-Toronto


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 4, 2014) - Members of the media are invited to attend The Centre for Mother, Infant, and Child Research's 2014 Pregnancy and Birth Conference.

Through lectures and interactive discussions between the audience and experts, participants will learn about research-based approaches to a variety of important and commonly encountered aspects of prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal care.

Current clinical issues that will be highlighted include current strategies in the prevention of preterm birth, strategies to promote infant development in the first six months of life, and the late preterm infant: short term and long-term consequences.
