On November 3, 2014, 1. HSB Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH & Co. KG,
Schönefeld, Germany, informed us according to sec. 21 et seq. of the WpHG
that its share of voting rights in METRO AG, Dusseldorf, Germany, fell
below the thresholds of 30%, 25% and 20% on November 1, 2014, and on that
day amounted to 16.26% of the voting rights (52,701,594 voting rights).
These voting rights were held by 1. HSB Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH & Co.
KG directly.

In addition, 1. HSB Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH & Co. KG, Schönefeld,
Germany, informed us according to sec. 21 et seq. of the WpHG on November
3, 2014, that its share of voting rights in METRO AG, Dusseldorf, Germany,
fell below the thresholds of 15% and 10% on November 3, 2014, and on that
day amounts to 8.13% of the voting rights (26,350,797 voting rights). These
voting rights are held by 1. HSB Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH & Co. KG
directly.
