BERNINA of America Adds Three New Experts to WeAllSew

Anneliese, Lee Heinrich and Nicole Stevenson to Provide Project Ideas, Patterns and Tips at WeAllSew.com

AURORA, IL--(Marketwired - Nov 14, 2014) -  BERNINA of America, the premier manufacturer of sewing, embroidery and quilting machines, is pleased to introduce three new Experts for its WeAllSew blog. Anneliese, Lee Heinrich and Nicole Stevenson will join the community of BERNINA Experts who supply project ideas, patterns, tips and techniques to fuel creativity and enhance a love for sewing. WeAllSew (www.weallsew.com) offers a unique online community where sewers and crafters from around the country can share their passion for sewing and creating.

Anneliese lives in the western U.S. and is the creator of Wee Muses Sewing Patterns and the blog Aesthetic Nest. Taught by her mother to sew when she was 8, Anneliese is excited about carrying on the tradition with her own three daughters. Her work has been featured on numerous lifestyle and creative websites and included in two sewing books. She believes creating a thing of beauty brings happiness, especially when it's a labor of love, and she hopes to inspire others to create their own beautiful gifts and celebrations.

"I am thrilled to be one of BERNINA's WeAllSew Experts," said Anneliese. "I am compulsively sewing for my three girls while they will wear what I sew. Now that I'm sewing for BERNINA, my next projects will start including quilting."

Lee Heinrich is a resident of Milwaukee and a former graphic designer. She discovered quilting and sewing when she left her job to stay home with her oldest daughter. She now sees quilting as a natural extension of her design work -- graphic design in fabric form. Lee recently co-authored the book Vintage Quilt Revival, 22 Modern Designs from Classic Blocks, and her projects have been featured in Quiltmaker, Fons and Porter's Easy Quilts, Fat Quarterly, Moda Bake Shop, and more. She also teaches and lectures locally and nationally.

"Every once in a while I make a bag, but I'm mostly obsessed with quilting," said Lee Heinrich. "I love to talk about modern quilting, and I look forward to sharing my passions, projects, and ideas with BERNINA's WeAllSew community."

Nicole Stevenson is a writer, illustrator, maker, teacher and creative business consultant. She is the co-producer of the craft and food festivals Patchwork Show: Modern Makers Festival and Craftcation: Business and Makers Conference. Her path has also included time as a street artist on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, Calif.; a costume designer; DIY workshop instructor; co-founder of a non-profit that produced art shows benefiting charities; owner and designer of Random Nicole, an art-inspired clothing line carried at more than 250 locations; and owner of The Craft Kitchen, a craft workshop studio and retail store in Santa Ana, Calif. She has bachelor's and master's degrees in creative writing and is currently working on a non-fiction book about her crafty adventures. Nicole also is the founder of Show and Tell Design Studio, which creates illustrations, branding and logos, editorial design, and custom invitations.

"Craft can make the world a better place," said Nicole Stevenson. "It's the feeling one gets from making something with your own hands that is beyond empowering. I hope that sewists will become empowered through my projects on BERNINA's WeAllSew blog."
