Advertising Age Names CPXi as #8 on Its 40 "Best Places to Work in Advertising & Media" List, 2014

Award Is Third in a Set of High Profile "Best Places to Work" Awards for CPXi in 2014

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 24, 2014) - Digital media holding company CPXi last week was ranked eighth on the "Best Places to Work in Advertising & Media" list by Advertising Age. This is the third 2014 win for CPXi as a "Best Place to Work" in 2014. Other recent awards for CPXi include: "Best Places to Work in NYC" -- Crain's New York Business, "Best Places to Work in NYC Tech" -- Internet Week and "Best Small Company in NYC Tech" -- Internet Week. CPXi's ranking among the 40 companies added to Ad Age's list was based on criteria such as hiring practices, benefits packages, salaries, office perks, workplace environment and design. Nearly 20,000 people were surveyed as part of the selection process.

"With hundreds of companies applying and going through the rigorous employer and employee survey process for the 2014 Ad Age Best Places to Work list, the competition was tough. The organizations that rose to the top are incredibly deserving," said Natalie Zmuda, deputy managing editor at Advertising Age. "In today's dynamic business environment, talent is a key differentiator. The leadership teams we've honored have perfected the art of recruiting, developing and retaining talent, setting their firms apart from others in the advertising and media world. And they've carefully, thoughtfully crafted a culture and a work environment that anyone would be lucky to be a part of."

"It's an honor to be named a 'Best Place to Work' by three different organizations, and it is especially validating to be honored by Ad Age," said George Marc-Aurele, Chief People Officer at CPXi. "Employees today have many options when choosing where they want to work, and in order to keep your employees engaged and focused, you need to make sure they feel valued. We've worked hard to do that at CPXi and have been thrilled with the positive feedback we've received from Ad Age and the other organizations."

The Ad Age results were based on an employer survey as well as a survey of employees, which asked questions about what it is like to work for CPXi. Employees cited a rewarding corporate culture that fosters personal career development and open communication, an executive team that cares about its employees and a collegial, team-oriented atmosphere as major reasons that CPXi is a great place to work. Competitive pay and benefits and office perks like free food and drink, games and social outings were also noted, but many employees also expressed their excitement to be part of a forward-thinking, innovative company doing great work in the space.

Crain's New York Business published its list of winners, but will announce the rankings in the December 5, 2014. CPXi was named as one of Internet Week's 30 finalists for their "Best Places to Work" program in October. On Thursday, November 20th, 2014, Internet Week also awarded CPXi a top honor as the "Best Small Business" in New York City during the organization's first annual awards ceremony in NY.
