mutares AG (ISIN: DE000A0SMSH2) has completed the acquisition of A+F
Automation + Fördertechnik GmbH ("A+F") on December 01, 2014, following the
approval by the German Federal Cartel Authority. A+F is a leading
manufacturer of end-of-line packaging solutions. The company is based in
Kirchlengern, Germany. With 179 employees, A+F generated sales of around
EUR 30 million in 2013.
A+F was acquired from the OYSTAR Group, which had decided to further focus
on its core business. With a wide range of fully automated end-of-line
packaging solutions, A+F has been a well-established partner of the Dairy,
Beverage, and Food industries for many years. In addition, the company is
pursuing expansion into other industry applications.
