Dime Hires Timothy Lenhoff as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer


BROOKLYN, NY--(Marketwired - December 02, 2014) - The Dime Savings Bank of Williamsburgh (the "Bank" or "Dime"), subsidiary of Dime Community Bancshares, Inc., (NASDAQ: DCOM), announced that Timothy Lenhoff has joined the Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Lenhoff is well known in banking and technology circles, having worked for many years for core processors, BISYS and Open Solutions, before moving to the client side with an institution in New Jersey. Tim will oversee the management, planning, implementation, infrastructure and network security protocol for all information technology utilized by the Bank, including the negotiation of any related contracts with third party information technology providers. Tim will lead a strong core team of technology professionals at Dime.
