NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Dec 11, 2014) - Korea Equity Fund, Inc. (NYSE: KEF) (the "Fund") announced that it would make a long term capital gains distribution of $0.0889 per share to shareholders of record on December 22, 2014. The ex-dividend date is December 18, 2014.

The distribution is payable on December 29, 2014.

The Fund invests primarily in the securities of companies domiciled in Korea and is designed for investors seeking long-term capital appreciation.
