JAMF Software Appoints Executives From Allegiance and Pinterest to Its Board of Directors

Industry Veterans Carine Clark and Michael Lopp Bring Expertise in Leadership and Engineering to JAMF Board

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Jan 6, 2015) - JAMF Software, the leader in Apple device management, today announced that Carine Clark, CEO and president of Allegiance, and Michael Lopp, head of engineering at Pinterest, have joined its Board of Directors.

Carine Clark brings 25 years of experience in building successful software companies. Prior to Allegiance, she served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Symantec and held executive positions at Altiris and Novell. At Altiris, her leadership helped establish the company as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, growing revenues from $62 million to $230 million during a four-year period. Clark is a winner of several industry awards and holds two degrees from Brigham Young University.

"Enterprises love Apple products -- they are scooping them up by the armful. This creates an enormous opportunity for JAMF to offer enterprise admins a more efficient way to manage all these devices, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it," said Clark. "JAMF is uniquely positioned in the marketplace with the Casper Suite to offer admins a better way to do their jobs."

Michael Lopp holds more than 20 years of experience in building teams and software at companies including Apple, Palantir, Netscape and Borland. At Pinterest, he oversees development of software designed to help users curate their inspiration. His roles at Apple included overseeing development of the Mac OS X Server and the Apple Store. Lopp is the author of two books on management and career development and holds a degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

"JAMF Software delivers," said Lopp. "They believe in doing things the right way and their reputation for focus and commitment to helping IT manage Apple devices is proof. I'm excited to be a part of it and work with them as more organizations lean on their expertise -- and more IT people get their nights and weekends back."

These appointments are yet another sign of JAMF's rapid growth as organizations around the world continue to adopt Apple technology. JAMF has seen strong growth and has doubled its customer count over the past two years. In the last year, the company has grown its workforce by 30 percent. JAMF also just wrapped up its fifth annual JAMF Nation User Conference (JNUC), the largest gathering of Apple IT experts in the world, with record attendance of more than 900 attendees.

"We are beyond thrilled to welcome two new members to our Board of Directors from Allegiance and Pinterest," said Chip Pearson, co-CEO of JAMF Software. "While Carine Clark brings a proven track record in leading enterprise companies to success, Michael Lopp brings his valuable experience in building teams and software at disruptive companies like Apple and Pinterest. The expertise of these established executives will greatly benefit JAMF as we work towards our strategic goals."
