"The financial support from Canadian Heritage makes it possible for small but professional organizations like the Lindsay Concert Foundation to bring great music performed by Canadian and world-renowned artists to rural communities like the Kawarthas, and to provide performances for children and educational opportunities for the benefit of our patrons and community. Without this support, we could not provide the quality of programming excellence for which Kawartha Concerts is recognized. We are truly grateful that the Government of Canada recognizes the importance of cultural activities in the lives of rural Canadians."
