Sabtech Announces Corporate Name Change to IXI Technology

YORBA LINDA, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 12, 2015) - Sabtech, an established leader in the design, manufacture and support of tactical data communications solutions for military and government agencies, today announced that it has changed its name to IXI Technology. The new name comes on the heels of a change in ownership, and reflects a strategic approach to advanced technology as well as entering new industrial markets.

Since joining and then purchasing 100 percent of the company 11 months ago, Mr. Carter has revitalized the product line with new technology at the board and systems level, releasing more than 12 new designs. This is a commitment that IXI Technology intends to continue since more than a third of the company's staff is dedicated to engineering. The company's technology development efforts are concentrated on High Density Processors and Computing, Data I/O Conversion, Digital Data Links, High Definition Video Sensors and Processing, Emulation of Systems, and Advanced Software Algorithms.

The Board of Directors has also transitioned and now includes Roger Smith, former Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Acquisitions; Harry Halamandaris, former CEO of Litton Industries and John Stammreich, former Vice President of Global Strategy for Boeing.
