Falck Group Selects Aria Systems' Active Monetization Platform for Falck Assistance Division

Roadside and Home Assistance Division of $1.9 Billion Falck Group Innovates Billing to Deliver Business Agility

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK and SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 13, 2015) - Aria Systems, the leading innovator in recurring revenue, today announced that the Falck Group, the $1.9 billion international response services enterprise, has chosen Aria's monetization platform to gain business agility, accelerate product launch time to market, and manage subscriptions to maximize revenues and product quality for its Falck Assistance Division, which operates throughout Scandinavia. With Aria, Falck Assistance plans to accelerate the time-to-market of new services in emergency roadside response, including innovations to keep pace with new machine to machine solutions.

Similar to the U.S.'s Automobile Association of America (AAA), Falck Assistance provides roadside assistance, home alarms, travel and health and safety services to its subscribers, 1.8 million organizations and individuals in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Estonia. Falck Assistance is a division of the $1.9 billion Falck Group, which now boasts emergency response services operations in 47 countries on six continents, including North America.

"Aria helps Falck build upon our market-leading customer satisfaction," said Kasper Hundborg Hansen, head of IT, Falck Assistance. "With Aria, we will have a flexible monetization platform that ensures that business units can launch new products at the speed required to better address customer needs and market opportunities, now and in the future."

The Falck Assistance division of Falck Group selected the Aria platform to enable agile product management, real-time entitlement, and billing and dunning in a tightly integrated fashion with salesforce.com, CRM, SAP ERP and external service delivery partners. Aria's support of multiple sales channels will also allow the division to add user self-service web portals in the future.

"One of the main benefits expected by Falck include the modernization of existing IT infrastructure which will in turn provide the business agility to meet future competitive challenges," added Hansen.

Aria Systems was selected to replace a legacy mainframe application during a 12-month evaluation and due diligence process that included several competing cloud-based and on-premise alternatives.

"Falck doesn't compromise on quality, a founding principle that is critical in emergency services," said Ric Vicari, vice president, EMEA, Aria Systems. "We are pleased to be chosen to be their monetization partner as they continue to innovate processes for rapid response in security, emergency, health and roadside services markets."
