Chinese Internet Leader Renren Invests $40 Million in Motif Investing

Renren Founder, Joe Chen, and Former Goldman Sachs, Boston Consulting Group Executive, Carl Stern, Join Board of Directors


SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - January 20, 2015) - Motif Investing, an online broker pioneering concept-driven investing for individuals and financial advisors, today announced that Renren, the leading social networking platform in China, has invested $40 million to assist Motif in its international expansion. The company also announced that Renren founder, Joe Chen joined the company's Board of Directors along with Carl Stern, former Vice Chairman of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs and former Chairman and CEO at The Boston Consulting Group.
