"The FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup at Val Saint-Côme is the first opportunity since the Sochi Olympic Games for our mogul skiers to compete in Quebec and in front of a true home crowd. Olympic medallists Justine Dufour-Lapointe, Chloé Dufour-Lapointe and Mikaël Kingsbury are sporting heroes to Quebecers and Canadians. The financial support provided by the Government of Canada is critical for hosting this event. The World Cups are an important component of our CFSA high performance program and provide great opportunities for Canadians to compete in Canada, promote the sport of freestyle skiing and showcase the Quebec ski industry."
