ePatientFinder Completes $2.58 Million Series A Equity Financing

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - Feb 10, 2015) - ePatientFinder, Inc. has raised a total of $2.58 million in Series A equity financing through Parsons & Whittemore alongside a group of angel investors. ePatientFinder provides a platform that connects its pharmaceutical, medical device and Contract Research Organization (CRO) clients with a network of clinics, hospitals and ACOs for the purpose of identifying and enrolling patients in clinical trials.

The funds will be used for the expansion of the provider network, life-science client network, provider engagement teams and patient engagement teams, as well as working capital and general corporate purposes.

"Working with numerous top 10 pharmaceutical companies and CROs, ePatientFinder has already demonstrated that we can lower costs and deliver the best recruiting results available. Patients are made aware of trial opportunities by their own physicians and we have seen an average of 86% of patients identified showing interest in opting into the screening process," said Tom Dorsett, CEO of ePatientFinder. "We are now scaling our provider network throughout the country via partnerships with EHR vendors."

"We are very proud to back ePatientFinder's mission of connecting patients with life-changing treatments through clinical trials," said Arick Rynearson, Vice President of Parsons & Whittemore. "We have a philosophy of funding companies that have a positive and substantial impact on society. ePatientFinder fits our philosophy by not only helping patients, but also accelerating the drug development process."
