FORT MCMURRAY, AB--(Marketwired - Feb 12, 2015) - NorthStar Ford Group Canada announced its grand opening today for its fourth dealership location, costing a whopping $35.6 million. The state-of-the-art facility showcases new technology ranging from an elaborate car wash to an amphitheatre. Additionally, the new clubhouse will be open to customers on February 17, 2015.

Mary Giles, dealer principal of NorthStar Ford Group, said, "The new location will specialize in Quick Repairs and 95 percent of vehicle services will be two hours or less on the lot! Our new service technology was carefully chosen to help extend the life of vehicles. For example, we invented an undercarriage car wash which has high pressure jets that shoot under your pickup to get rid of the mud and help keep stress off the transmission."

Additionally, NorthStar Ford will continue to support nonprofits by offering them the Henry Ford Training and Community Centre in the new clubhouse. Giles said, "One of the core values at NorthStar is we must support the community that supports us. This centre is a multi-tiered amphitheatre with 25 seats, two whiteboards and the latest in AV technology."

The additional features of NorthStar Ford's clubhouse include a Lincoln sales department, service department, business centre, lounges, large showrooms and Ford History display areas. 

The new dealership, located at 540 Memorial Drive in Fort McMurray, is 56,516 square feet, much larger than the Gregoire location at 23,000 square feet and the Fort McKay location at 15,683 square feet. There are 710 parking spots on the lot and 15 service bays, allowing for a greater selection of vehicles and quick service options.
