About: Ms. Teri Brown
Spending all of her early years around the "family" business, Teri Brown entering the music/entertainment business was a natural progression. Working with Bob Eubanks, who was not only a TV personality, but Los Angeles' premier concert promoter, they were responsible for presenting artists in the largest venues Los Angeles had to offer. They worked with everyone from The Rolling Stones to The Beatles, to discovering new artists like Tina Turner (then of the Ike and Tina Turner Revue) to the Righteous Brothers, who started in the Eubanks owned Cinnamon Cider young adult nightclubs.
From there her career took her to various corporate positions, including talent agent at Associated Booking Corp. (The Dave Clark Five, Barbra Streisand), to head of A&R for Decca Records (The Who, Jackie Wilson).
Then the partnership between Eubanks and Brown reconnected and left the pop scene for Country Music. Applying all their pop culture knowledge, they promoted nationwide the tours of Merle Haggard, Porter Waggoner & Dolly Pardon, and George Jones & Tammy Wynette exclusively. Also venturing into co-management with Barbara Mandrell.
All this history led Ms. Brown to form her own company which tapped her vast knowledge of talent and her resources. Through the next years she was an integral part of major TV Shows, such as Star Search and In Concert Country (for ABC), and the 2002 Olympic Metals Plaza concerts/talent for 16 nights for NBC.
During that time, TBA was asked to book a series of concerts at the Busch Gardens Theme Park (The Old Country) in Williamsburg, Va. That would lead to an 18 year entertainment consulting business with Anheuser-Busch. Including not only all the Busch owned theme parks, but extending to their acquisition of the Sea World parks as well. It also lead to instituting marketing programs for the Budweiser Beer brand in the sports of NASCAR and Professional Rodeo. However, the task that Anheuser-Busch later put before Ms. Brown, would enlarge her scope of services to include major sponsor endorsements. It started with the Budweiser Concert Series, still part of today's music fabric, and lead to the longest Artist/Sponsor relationship in music history with George Strait.
From there, TBA Network produced sponsorships for KD Lang (MAC make-up), and the then Universal Amphitheatre, in Los Angeles. Those sponsors included multiple brands like General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and American Airlines. TBA also provided sponsors to the Six Flags theme parks, and Universal CityWalk where it's only sponsor, Maxwell House Coffee, was featured for multiple years.
During this time Ms. Brown was also participating in talent management and handled the careers of many artists including The Everly Bros, John Schneider and Peter Cetera.
The most recent corporate marketing consulting accorded with Hallmark Cards, out of Kansas City, MO. and a program they had implemented some 20+ years before. Tasked with a program overhaul, T.B.A. was hired as the agency of record. TBA, working with the client, Hallmark, transformed the annual holiday CD program into a multi-million dollar music distribution business.
Currently, residing in Nashville, TN, Ms. Brown is still advising clients in the music industry. CID Entertainment is a VIP ticket company servicing major artists and music festivals, and The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (a non-profit) preserving the legacy of the Nashville songwriters and their contributions to the music community.
