Georgia REALTORS(R) Announces 2015 Officers and Regional Directors


ATLANTA, Feb. 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Deb Junkin, RCE, Chief Executive Officer of the Georgia REALTORS® (GAR), has announced the organization's 2015 leadership team. REALTOR® leaders were officially sworn in on Wednesday, February 11, at the President's Inaugural Gala at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The Gala was part of the GAR Inaugural & Legislative Conference.

Jim Smith of Macon will serve as President. Smith is a member of the Middle Georgia Association of REALTORS® and is the Principal Broker of Willingham Loan and Realty Company in Macon.

Ryan Brashear of Augusta will serve as President-Elect; Linda Carol Porterfield of Athens will serve as Immediate Past President; Sheila Brower of Atlanta will serve as Vice President of Administration and Finance; Michael Faulkner of Fayetteville will serve as Vice President of Governmental Affairs; Faron W. King of Blue Ridge will serve as Vice President of Public and Member Services; and Chris Jiles of Columbus will serve as Vice President of Professional Development.

Regional Directors for the association are as follows: Region 1, Carol Moson of Marietta; Region 2, Terry Swanson of Cumming; Region 3, Rett Harmon of Carrollton; Region 4, Darryl Pierce of Lilburn; Region 5, Michael Dickson of Monroe; Region 6, Bikel Frenelle of Lagrange; Region 7, Jean Shiver of Albany; Region 8, Jerry Rhyne of Brunswick; and Region 9, Janice Nhare of Dublin.
