Comic Book Show

The Calgary Comic Collectors Show is here! Buy, sell, and trade comic books, action figures, video games and more. Admission is $2, but with a donation to the Calgary Food Bank, save $1. Check it out here.

CANstruction

March 19th -27th

CANstruction is an international competition where teams of engineers and architects design and build amazing structures completely from non-perishable food. The theme for this year's Calgary competition is "I-CAN-ic Structures of the World"- think pyramids, Easter Island, Big Ben. The structures will be on display from March 19-26 in Southcentre Mall's Centre Court, and all of the food will be transported to the Calgary Food Bank on the 27th. You won't want to miss checking these out!

For a Celebration of Happy

Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st

March 20th is the first day of spring as well as the International Day of Happiness! Join us at the Calgary Farmers' Market to celebrate happiness and what it means to you. The event will raise awareness of the importance of fresh food donations for the Calgary Food Bank. The Calgary Food Bank will be on site both days collecting donations. On Friday, March 20th from 11:00AM-12:30PM, there will be two speakers discussing happiness. Karen Anderson, founder of Calgary Food Tours, will discuss the benefits of eating local; Karen Judge will discuss why happiness matters.

Jam for Cans at Hexter's Pub

Join us at Hexter's Pub for two Sundays of fun this month. Hexter's will be supporting the Calgary Food Bank again this year by collecting food and monetary donations for entry into their musical jam session.

Bach Society Concert

The Calgary Bach Society is hosting yet another afternoon filled with music to delight your ears. Admission is by donation to the Calgary Food Bank.
