CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwired - Mar 5, 2015) - Barrette Outdoor Living, Inc. (BOL) announces the purchase of a new distribution center located in Riverside, California. This purchase now gives Barrette their seventh distribution center and their first presence to customers on the west coast.

Located at 1151 Palmyrita Avenue in Riverside, the facility offers 100,000 square feet of indoor storage along with several acres of paved outdoor storage. Slated to be up and running mid-March, the center expects to create many new full-time positions. Rick Paulson has been hired to serve as the Distribution Manager.

"We are extremely excited in our acquisition of this new facility, which will serve as a regional distribution center for our growing customer base on the west coast," said BOL President Jean desAutels. "Having a location out west, we will be able to reduce lead times for our customers while reducing freight costs. It's a great complement to our existing distribution centers spread out across the eastern and southern parts of the country, and gives us exposure to a large network of west coast dealers and retailers," desAutels added.

Barrette brands that will be distributed from this new location include Barrette Wood Bedframes, ActiveYards®, Alumi-Guard, and Railing Dynamics, Inc. Customer channels include 2-step distributors, contractors, professional dealers, big box retail stores, and lumberyards.

Additional Barrette distribution centers are located in Bulls Gap, Tennessee; Flint, Michigan; Millville, New Jersey; Brooksville, Florida; Pendergrass, Georgia and Morristown, Tennessee.
