Sydbank has issued EUR 100m worth of Tier 2 capital. The issue was made as Tier 2 capital with a maturity of 7 years.
The issue is a 12-year issue with a first call option after 7 years. A 12nc7 issue fixed at mid-swap plus 172 basis points.
Sydbank will move closer to meeting the capital targets in the coming years. The issue is a follow-up to the capital structure adjustment mentioned in the 2014 Annual Report.
12nc7 is the longest maturity obtained by Sydbank since the Bank has been internationally rated.
