Red Bull Air Race World Championship Tickets Now on Sale

High-Flying Action Back in 2015 With Eight Stops, Including Return to Fort Worth and Las Vegas


SANTA MONICA, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 11, 2015) - Tickets for the two U.S. stops of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship season are now on sale, as one of the world's fastest motorsport series returns to the skies at exciting locations around the world. The eight-race 2015 schedule includes a return to two U.S. based races, in Fort Worth at Texas Motor Speedway on September 26-27 and in Las Vegas at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 17-18. In addition, the season will visit United Arab Emirates, Japan, Croatia, Hungary, the United Kingdom and Austria. A wide range of tickets -- everything from general admission to hospitality areas with fine catering and the best views -- are available with pricing starting at $29.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world's best race pilots in a pure motorsport competition that combines speed, precision and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made up of air-filled pylons 80 feet high at speeds of up to 230 mph. At the two U.S. stops, the Race Airport (with plane hangars) will be constructed on the infield of each speedway and certain tickets will include access to a hangar viewing area, providing a behind the scenes look at the pilots and their race planes.

Tickets are now available through redbullairrace.com, ticketmaster.com, lvms.com, texasmotorspeedway.com and in person at both the Texas Motor Speedway office (817-215-8500) and Las Vegas Motor Speedway box office (800-644-4444). Available ticket options include:

General Admission Seating - Sunday Race Day $29 (full weekend $39)
Children under 12 enter for free (max two children per adult)

Reserved Terrace Seating - $39 Sunday Race Day $29 (full weekend $59)

Includes: front stretch terrace seats with excellent sightlines of the speedway; wide, flip-down seats with cup holders and a private concourse with restrooms, concessions and elevator access; access to hangar viewing area access. 

Race Club Weekend Packages - $450

Two-time world champion (2009 and 2010) Paul Bonhomme of Britain will once again attempt to take a third championship, while fending off fellow Englishman and 2014 world champion Nigel Lamb. The complete field of 14 pilots also includes two Americans: Kirby Chambliss, who won the world title in 2004 and 2006, and Michael Goulian. The rest of the pilots include: 2008 champion Hannes Arch (AUT), Matt Hall (AUS), Peter Besenyei (HUN), Nicolas Ivanoff (FRA), Matthias Dolderer (GER), Yoshi Muroya (JPN), Pete McLeod (CAN), Martin Sonka (CZE) and Master Class newcomers François Le Vot (FRA) and Juan Velarde (ESP).

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship kicked off in Abu Dhabi, UAE on February 14/15. The racing will then move on to Chiba, Japan on May 16/17, Rovinj, Croatia on May 30/31, Budapest, Hungary on July 4/5, Ascot, United Kingdom on August 15/16, Spielberg, Austria on September 5/6, and finish the season in the U.S. with races in Fort Worth September 26/27 and Las Vegas on October 17/18. More information is available at www.redbullairrace.com.
