Look Below the Surface: OceanWall Presented by Hillside Centre and WildVision Edutainment

The OceanWall Allows Viewers to Experience the Wonders of the Pacific Ocean

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 11, 2015) - Hillside Centre and WildVision Edutainment Inc. have partnered to bring shoppers the experience of the OceanWall - a 12-foot by 7-foot video screen showcasing ocean life below the surface of the waters surrounding Vancouver Island. The first of its kind in Canada, the OceanWall provides hours of underwater footage, and is located in the renovated food court at Hillside Centre (1644 Hillside Avenue, Victoria, British Columbia).

With the presence of the OceanWall, visitors to Hillside Centre are given the opportunity to explore the intricacies of underwater life, and engage in interactive, educational activities focused on the sea life of the Salish Sea. The OceanWall is made up of eleven screens in total and allows guests the chance to see both pre-recorded and live footage of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding waters as well view marine life in their natural habitat.

"We love that as a mall we're able to offer the experience that is the OceanWall. Shoppers can take part in something completely out of the ordinary during their time with us and hopefully leave with a new appreciation for ocean wildlife," said Michele Paget, Marketing Director for Hillside Centre. "Putting the OceanWall in our renovated food court has been a great way to captivate shoppers."

Hillside Centre and WildVision Edutainment Inc. have recently launched 'Ocean Talks' - a speaking series open to the public that covers current topics related to ocean sustainability. Each session includes short engaging presentations with multiple speakers followed by a question period. For more information, please visit www.hillsidecentre.com/events/oceanwall.
