Government of Canada supports the Society of the Company of Angels Dance Projects


ANNAPOLIS ROYAL, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - March 17, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $7,500 in funding for the Society of the Company of Angels Dance Projects. This funding, provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, is in support of the second edition of the Festival of Dance Annapolis Royal. This contemporary dance festival will take place from August 20 to 23, 2015, at the King's Theatre in Annapolis Royal. The program includes presentations of contemporary dance by professional artists from Nova Scotia, Ontario and the United States.

  • Festival of Dance Annapolis Royal (FODAR) is the only summer professional contemporary dance festival in Atlantic Canada.
  • FODAR was launched in 2014 to develop and grow the audience for contemporary dance in Atlantic Canada.
