ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Mar 18, 2015) - Texas-based businesses have performed well on the 2015 100 Top Global Franchises Ranking, produced by Franchise Direct. This year, six of the franchises ranked within the top 100 call Texas home. The annual list ranks global franchises based on a variety of factors that indicate sound commercial and civic responsibility practices.

Newcomer to the Top 100 Global Franchises list is Sport Clips, which expanded to the Canadian market, opening its first franchise in the country in 2013. Sport Clips took the decision to expand internationally slowly after initial success in the United States.
