Government of Canada Supports the Festival Petits Bonheurs, a Cultural Event for Young Children


MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - March 18, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced $15,000 in funding for the 11th Festival Petits bonheurs in Montréal. This funding, provided through the Programming component of the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, will help introduce children aged 6 and under to the arts and offer cultural mediation workshops to disadvantaged families.

Quick Facts

  • The Festival Petits bonheurs will take place from May 1 to 10, 2015. It presents around 60 theatre, dance and music events, with 240 performances at more than 30 venues in Montréal.
  • The Festival also has a component for theatre professionals that consists of workshops, conferences and internships.
  • The organization has developed partnerships to present regional, national and international shows.
