Greenhouse Announces First-Ever User Conference: 2015 Recruiting Optimization Summit

Company Welcomes Recruiting Guru Lou Adler as Keynote Speaker

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 19, 2015) - Greenhouse Software, a leading recruiting optimization platform, today announced details of its first user conference, the 2015 Recruiting Optimization Summit. The event, which will be held in San Francisco from March 25 through March 26, 2015, will give attendees the opportunity to exchange ideas and meet one-on-one with HR's best and brightest.

Featuring workshops with Greenhouse experts, presentations from industry thought leaders and hands-on roundtables, the two-day event will provide practical advice and how-to's on ways to leverage Greenhouse products to continuously enhance recruiting performance. Greenhouse has helped companies improve the way they find, interview and hire talent, and the Summit will enable talent leaders from companies like BrightRoll, Thumbtack and Evernote to present examples of how their recruiting processes have been rebuilt and optimized using the Greenhouse platform.

Among the highlights of the summit will be a keynote presentation from Performance-based Hiring guru, Lou Adler, author of the Amazon best-selling books, "Hire With Your Head" and "The Essential Guide for Hiring & Getting Hired." As the president of The Adler Group, he and his firm help companies find and hire exceptional talent using systematic processes and performance-based hiring. During his highly interactive and thought-provoking session, Adler will share his insight on how companies can use advanced sourcing and recruiting techniques to find outstanding talent.

"In my 30-plus years in the industry, I've witnessed countless organizations using skills-infested job descriptions to define the skills and attributes of the ideal candidate for their open positions. Instead, companies should focus on defining the performance expectations of the job as well as the related work culture and environment," said Adler. "I look forward to sharing stories about my experiences and helping attendees of the Summit learn how to use performance-based hiring processes to improve their recruitment success."

The Summit will also feature insightful sessions led by talent acquisition leaders from some of the most successful recruiting brands today. For example, Lori Russo, head of Global Talent Acquisition, and Stacy Zapar, employer branding and sourcing strategist, both of TripAdvisor, will present a session in which they explore how to develop an effective employer brand.

With advice about how to build better interview questions, write more effective job descriptions and create organizational alignment, the 2015 Recruiting Optimization Summit will give attendees information that can add value to their hiring processes. The Summit also will provide a forum for Greenhouse CEO Daniel Chait to lay out the vision and product roadmap for the company, as well as describe how customers can take advantage of Greenhouse's partner eco-system.

Chait added, "We regularly roll out new product features and enhancements, and we want to be sure that our customers can maximize the potential of their Greenhouse products. At the Summit, Greenhouse customers will receive hands-on training from our resident experts and return to their organizations with the best practices and proven strategies to transform their recruiting practices."

The Greenhouse 2015 Recruiting Optimization Summit will be held Wednesday, March 25 through Thursday, March 26 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. More information, including registration details, is available at: https://recruitingoptimization2015.splashthat.com/.
