Launch of Brack Attack Redefines March Brackets

New Hoops Contest Where One Team Won't Bust Your Bracket Creates Big Time Excitement

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 19, 2015) - Class Act Sports announces the launch of Brack Attack™, a first-of-its-kind bracket contest that takes the madness out of brackets in March. Brack Attack is the first college basketball tournament contest where players have a chance to win the grand prize and stay in contention for the duration of the tournament even if one of the teams they select to go all the way gets knocked out.

"We are pumped to have successfully unleashed Brack Attack for the college hoops tournament this past weekend," said Ginsberg, creator of Brack Attack™ and Founder of Class Act Sports. "The concept for this contest came about after many of years of that one team busting a nearly perfect bracket. Brack Attack™ is in a league of its own -- we are adding a new twist to the bracket experience. It's a dream come true for every fan like me who wants to take a little bit of madness out of March."

Jump Start Stats

Opening weekend statistics exceeded expectations with several thousand players signing up and filling out brackets on Selection Sunday. Social media has been buzzing with excitement about Brack Attack™, seen with a 300% increase in engagement on the game's social media pages during the start of the college hoops playoff season. Several notable NBA players fresh off of impressive college careers have joined in the fun, posting about Brack Attack™ on their Instagram pages, including Tim Hardaway, Jr (New York Knicks), Ty Lawson (Denver Nuggets), Peyton Siva (Orlando Magic), Cleanthony Early (NY Knicks), Langston Galloway (NY Knicks) and more.

The Birth of Brack Attack™

After years of experiencing losses in his brackets to major upsets, which is something most basketball fans can relate to (like when the Dayton Flyers beat Syracuse) innovative sports enthusiast and entrepreneur Jared Ginsberg made it his mission to create a game that would bring the fun back to bracket contests and take away a good portion of the headache and heartache. With the help of sports and technology experts, Ginsberg developed Brack Attack™, which utilizes a first-of-its-kind mechanics that keeps players in contention until the very end of the tournament.

When designing Brack Attack™, Ginsberg wanted to make sure it was easy to enter and user friendly, so anyone from the most to the least experienced players can participate. Contestants pick one team from each seed, for a total of 16 teams. There are designated point totals for each seed. Players earn points as their teams advance through the tournament, with points doubling each round. The player who accumulates the most points throughout the tournament has a chance to win the grand prize of $2,500.

Selection started on March 15, when the teams were announced. Players can choose teams and make changes up until five minutes before the first game is played on March 19th. Brack Attack™ is free to enter.
