TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 23, 2015) - Mega Uranium Ltd. (TSX:MGA) announces the results of its annual and special shareholder meeting held earlier today. Each of the nominees listed below was elected as a director by a show of hands of a majority of the shareholders. The results of the shares voted by proxy in respect of the election of each director are:

Nominee Shares Voted For Shares Withheld
Anthony Grey 51,235,505 (97%) 1,538,040 (3%)
Arni Johannson 49,196,032 (93%) 3,577,513 (7%)

As previously announced, Sheldon Inwentash and Michael Sweatman retired as directors and did not stand for re-election at the meeting.

At the meeting, shareholders also approved and confirmed the company's shareholder rights plan agreement. Confirmation of the by-law regulating the nomination of directors was withdrawn for consideration by shareholders prior to the meeting, however, because it was apparent that a vote on the by-law would not succeed based upon the shares voted by proxy in advance of the meeting. The by-law ceased to be effective as of today.
