CyberTECH Sponsoring Major IoT Security Forum at RSA 2015

Third Annual Event to Feature Top Names in U.S. Security

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 24, 2015) - CyberTECH, one of the nation's leading cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT) based ecosystem networks, is sponsoring its seventh "CyberTECH Securing the Internet of Things (SIOT) Forum" featuring global thought leaders, U.S. industry experts and national security influencers at this year's RSA conference. In partnership with the prestigious bwtech@UMBC, the CyberTECH Forum will explore and provide actionable solutions for the IoT in the private, government and academic sectors. Last year's Forum attracted over 300 attendees. A limited number of sponsorships are also available for the event and interested organizations should contact Maggey Felix (maggey@cyberunited.com).

"The security and privacy problems around the Internet of Things have been discussed for a very long time," comments Darin Andersen, Chairman and Founder of CyberTECH. "We have to take action before it's too late and products are in the market without the necessary protection. As a result, the Forum is dedicated to generating recommendations for possible solutions. This is our showcase event in a series of six around the country and we have gathered some of the top minds and influencers from private industry, government and academia to tackle these issues."

The Forum will include a keynote by Michael Daniel, President Obama's Cybersecurity Coordinator. In addition, the day's agenda includes featured speakers and panelists from the Department of Defense, as well as 14 CEOs and executives from leading corporations; regional and local governments; and laboratories.

The Forum will take place on from 11:30 to 6:30 on Monday, April 20th at the Terra Gallery, 511 Harrison Street, San Francisco.

Ticket sales start at 11:30PM on March 30. "We have limited seating for the Forum," Andersen concludes. "It may sound strange to open Early Bird specials close to midnight but the event sells out pretty quickly."
