The Lantern Fest Announces 2015 Tour

SALT LAKE CITY, March 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The sky will be painted white and gold all over the country as The Lantern Fest kicks off its 2015 Tour. Families and friends can join together to watch their hopes and dreams sail upwards in the form of Chinese Lanterns.

The Lantern Fest was established to encourage families to spend time together and create memories. With music, dancing, s'mores, and giveaways throughout the night; children, parents, and friends will have an evening they won't soon forget.

"People come from all over to celebrate a milestone, remember a loved one, or just to snap some pictures for instagram and marvel at this magnificent spectacle," said Co-founder TR Gourley.

This family friendly festival donates a portion of the proceeds from every event to a local charity, so participants can roast their marshmallows knowing that they are giving back to their community.

The Lantern Fest was established in 2014 and continues to gain momentum. The 2015 Lantern Fest Tour promises over 25 new locations around the country, starting in Colorado Springs, CO on April 25th. Lanterns will continue to fly through May when the event stops in Olympia, Gastonia, and Spokane.

"This one-of-a-kind experience will most likely become a family tradition for years to come" said Gourley.

Lantern passes come with a wristband (granting admission to the event), a lantern, a s'mores kit, and a flashlight.

All are welcome to join in the spectacle. Visit www.thelanternfest.com for more information about The Lantern Fest. Dates and locations are updated as permits are secured. Checkout what fans have to share on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/thelanternfest.
