Aakar Patel Joins Sendyne to Lead Business Development

Energy Storage Solutions Company Welcomes Industry Veteran


NEW YORK, N.Y., March 27, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Sendyne, an innovative developer of products and technologies for energy system design and management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Aakar Patel as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Patel will lead global development activities, focusing his efforts on leveraging new business initiatives, enhancing existing accounts, and on establishing and maintaining key strategic partnerships to fuel the company's growth.

Mr. Patel has over 20 years of experience in business development in the energy storage and related sectors. Beginning his career at Duracell Batteries, most recently Mr. Patel was the CEO of TeckQuest, where he brought to market over 50 revenue-generating energy storage products and acted as a consultant to several leading household consumer brand companies. Previous to that, Mr. Patel was the CEO and President of Leyden Energy, an innovative battery cell manufacturer. Mr. Patel has collaborated with Sendyne's CEO, John Milios, in an earlier venture: He was the Director of Sales at USAR Systems, a company founded by Mr. Milios. During Mr. Patel's tenure at USAR, the company was successfully merged with Semtech Corp., an S&P 500 semiconductor company, after which Patel became Semtech's Director of Corporate Marketing.
