WOW! Business and BYTEGRID Partner to Serve Chicago Area Businesses

AURORA, IL--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2015) - WOW! Business, a communications and cloud service provider, and BYTEGRID Holdings LLC, a provider of multi-tenant data centers, today announced new fiber optic connectivity into the BYTEGRID Data center that will enable WOW! Business to deliver a continually expanding range of network, voice, and IT infrastructure services to businesses in downtown Chicago and the western suburbs.

Under terms of the agreement, WOW! Business will establish a network point-of-presence (POP) in BYTEGRID's highly-secure Aurora data center strategically located to service the Chicagoland area. The new POP will be connected to the WOW! Business network with a 480-count fiber and further facilitates WOW! Business' ability to provide its business Internet, Ethernet and optical networking services to Chicago's western suburbs and the I-88 business and technology corridor. 

BYTEGRID's customers located in the Aurora data center will now be able to access WOW! Business services, while WOW! Business customers will be able to take advantage of BYTEGRID's colocation hosting, data center, and physical IT infrastructure solutions through its IT infrastructure ecosystem.

In addition, WOW! Business' recent purchase of fiber conduit in the downtown Chicago central business district connects WOW! Business and BYTEGRID to 38 buildings encompassing thousands of business tenants. Once operational, it will allow those tenants to access WOW! Business network, voice, and data services and BYTEGRID's IT infrastructure and data center services.
