MENLO PARK, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 8, 2015) -  Kateeva today announced that its portfolio of global intellectual property (IP) has grown substantially in the last year. Fifteen new patents (and five allowed applications) were granted during this period. They include 12 in the U.S., two in China, and one in Korea. The patents cover a wide range of innovations, including key technology that differentiates the company's precision deposition platform. Called the YIELDjet™ platform, the unique manufacturing equipment solution uses inkjet printing to mass-produce OLED displays and other complex products.

Kateeva's diligent IP strategy is driven by a team of patent experts. The new IP protects innovations relating to the following areas: (1) Floating platform printing systems; (2) Production-worthy controlled environment printing systems; (3) Ultra-low particle controlled environment printing; (4) Algorithms and monitoring systems for high-uniformity blanket coating; (5) Algorithms and monitoring systems for high-uniformity pixel coating; (6) Ink formulations; and (7) Exploratory printing technologies.
