Motif Investing Wins "Most Disruptive" at the 2015 Benzinga Fintech Awards

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - April 09, 2015) - Motif Investing, an online broker pioneering thematic investing, today announced that it was recognized by Benzinga as the Most Disruptive Company in Fintech. The Benzinga Fintech Awards were created to seek out the most innovative companies that are improving the way wealth is created within the capital markets.

The finalists were then reviewed by a five judge panel comprised of Josh Brown, of Ritholtz Wealth Management, Steve Ehrlich of Honos Financial, Ron Insana of CNBC, Andrew Ackerman of DreamIt New York, Charlie Kroll of Andrea, and Kyle Bazzy of Benzinga who made the ultimate decisions on category winners.

Award winners were announced at a special awards gala held on April 8 in New York City. In total, Benzinga gave out more than $1,000,000 in prizes and services, which included a grand prize of 5 million ad impressions on Benzinga.com and a one-year Benzinga Cloud news & data license subscription.
