Registration Now Open for EDRM Annual Spring Workshop

SAINT PAUL, MN--(Marketwired - Apr 14, 2015) -  Registration is open for the annual EDRM Spring Workshop. EDRM, the leading standards organization for the e-discovery market, hosts two semi-annual workshops for members to assemble in person, discuss organizational updates and priorities and work in groups, spending time collaborating on their respective projects. The annual Spring Workshop is being held May 4-6, 2015 in St. Paul, Minnesota. EDRM members may register for the event at www.edrm.net/register.

Topics on the agenda for this year's Spring Workshop include:

• New Voices: Expanding EDRM's scope to encompass corporate and governmental e-discovery and information governance wants and needs
• New Perspectives: Preparing additional Information Governance Viewpoint papers
• Enhanced Tools: Further developing self-assessment and budgeting tools such as EDRM's eMSAT and budget calculators
• Additional Resources: Adding micro data sets and other practical resources for e-discovery and information governance practitioners
  
  

EDRM will celebrate its 10th anniversary at a reception being held May 4, 2015. The organization was founded in May 2005 to address the lack of standards in the new but quickly evolving e-discovery industry. In 2006, EDRM published the Electronic Discovery Reference Model and, in subsequent years, released additional resources and frameworks. EDRM continues its mission today of creating practical resources to improve e-discovery and information governance by bringing members together to collaborate, develop and maintain a wide range of standards and best practices. EDRM tools and resources are currently available to all industry professionals.
