Former Sauce Labs CTO and Co-Founder Shares Lessons Learned and Opportunities Gained From HealthCare.gov Turnaround

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 15, 2015) - Sauce Labs, Inc., the leading cloud-based web and application testing platform, today announced that its co-founder and original Selenium developer Jason Huggins will present on his first-hand experience as part of the HealthCare.gov "tech surge" team at a Meetup titled, "Fixing HealthCare.gov, One Test at a Time." Scheduled for April 21, the free event will take place at if(we) headquarters in downtown San Francisco.

As a member of the HealthCare.gov "tech surge" team, Huggins has a unique, behind-the-scenes view into the HealthCare.gov turnaround and the "HealthCare 2.0" effort that took place in 2014. Along with sharing his in-the-trenches experiences of the HealthCare.gov turnaround, Huggins will introduce the newly established U.S. Digital Services, created in response to the challenges that faced HealthCare.gov at its launch in 2013. Attendees will also learn about the U.S. Digital Services Playbook and what the role of automated testing and deployment will be in future U.S. Government projects. Lastly, the presentation will include a discussion on how Silicon Valley can help government organizations build effective digital services in the future.
