LSI Industries Inc. Combines Graphics and Lighting Capabilities to Become Image Provider for Phillips 66's Fuel Brands National Reimage Program

CINCINNATI, April 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LSI Industries Inc. (Nasdaq:LYTS) today announced the Company has been named the provider of graphics and lighting for two of Phillips 66's fuel brands. The national image programs include the new Phillips 66 Shield and 76 Wave, which will begin rolling out at several hundred locations in 2015.

LSI demonstrated its capabilities and commitment to this program through a lengthy and active development process, which included numerous prototypes and implementation across multiple test sites to arrive at the proper balance of value and image impact. The new image packages contain a broad array of LSI-developed products ranging from dispenser decals to custom LED illuminated canopy fascia to energy efficient LED under-canopy lighting. Extensive survey and logistics work by the LSI program management and implementation services group of LSI Adapt provided critically important data to help drive customer decisions and rollout plans for Phillip 66's innovative "Brand Image Central (BIC)" program. As a preferred provider, LSI would expect to participate in this program beyond the initial 2015 rollout launch.

Robin Hood, Executive Vice President of LSI Graphics Segment, said, "Our long-term partnership with Phillips 66 once again utilized the expertise of our team and its proprietary image creation capabilities in support of the development process with quick, cost effective solutions – vital in a national rollout program with over 500 individual graphic and lighting elements and a demanding schedule. This project is a good example of how LSI positions itself and works closely with national brand name companies to provide image development, prototyping, support, and roll-out execution to achieve cost-effective and complete lighting combined with graphics image solutions."

Commenting on the announcement, Dave McCauley, President of LSI Graphics Segment, commented, "We are proud to be a partner in such a dynamic and well tested program and are enthusiastic about bringing our "Lighting + Graphics = Image" expertise to this project to provide a comprehensive image creation experience for our customer. We are an image company that successfully integrates lighting, graphics, and management services for our customers. We are pleased to report on the increasing interest we are seeing in the overall petroleum market with regard to site reimaging, as well as the multitude of potential reimaging projects in our other core national markets."
