SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 16, 2015) - Western Economic Diversification Canada
Today, the Honourable Michelle Rempel, Minister of State for Western Economic Diversification, announced $2 million in funding to support the Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre in establishing and operating a clean technology development facility, called the Advanced Resource Clean Technology Innovation Centre, or ARCTIC.
ARCTIC will help identify solutions to the challenges faced by western-based resource industries, by creating an initiative that supports clean technology innovators in B.C. and Alberta in bringing new technologies from test bench to market.
