AVTECH expands program with Etihad Airways on trialing the Aventus Nowcast descent winds product

AVTECH Sweden AB (publ), today announced that AVTECH and Etihad Airways have
agreed to expand the trial of the Aventus NowCast Descent Winds service
(“Aventus”) from three destinations to Etihad Airways’ full network.

Aventus NowCast is a software system that uses atmospheric modeling and weather
information to create high resolution wind models and data packages for the
different segments of a flight, creating beneficial fuel and emissions savings
for the airline. The airline also benefits as a result of increased efficiency
and punctuality of individual flights and of the air transport system as a
whole.

The expansion of the program will build on the benefits already realized during
the original two-month analysis for Etihad Airways.
