TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 16, 2015) - The award-winning Hannaford Street Silver Band (HSSB) presents its 10th annual HANNAFORD FESTIVAL OF BRASS on Friday April 17 through Sunday April 19, 2015, Canada's largest Brass Band Festival.
Over 10 years the Festival of Brass has become a uniquely co-operative and collective event bringing together musicians of all levels to perform, learn and inspire one another.
The highlight of the weekend is the gala Hannaford Concert, Sunday, April 19 at 3:00PM led by Brass Band legend Edward Gregson, who returns to Toronto as guest composer and conductor with soloist Gordon Wolfe, TSO Principal Trombonist.
The program features Gregson's Of Distant Memories and Symphony in Two Movements.
It's a true brass band extravaganza to wrap up our 31st season.
