SDTC today announced Leah Lawrence as its new President and CEO. She has held a wide range of senior leadership positions in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she was the president of Clean Energy Capitalists Inc.
Ms. Lawrence's experience in sustainable technology development in the oil and gas and electricity industries has been recognized by both industry and government through various board and fellowship appointments including CO2 Solutions Inc., the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Engineers Canada, the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, Alberta Economic Development, and the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Regina and a Master of Economics from the University of Calgary.
