Government of Canada supports the Eden Mills Writers' Festival


EDEN MILLS, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 17, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $12,000 in funding over two years for the 2015 and 2016 Eden Mills Writers' Festival. The annual festival is held in September and includes readings for all ages and outreach activities. The support is provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund.

Michael Chong, Member of Parliament (Wellington-Halton Hills), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

  • The 27th annual Eden Mills Writers Festival will take place September 11-13, 2015.
  • The 28th annual Eden Mills Writers Festival will take place September 9-11, 2016.
  • Each edition will feature around 40 Canadian authors, as well as at least one international author.
