C-Suite TV Goes BIG in May With Authors, Hoops and Heartthrobs

May Programming for Best Seller TV Features Author David Giannetto; Executive Perspectives Begins a New Season With Former Boy Band Member Turned Entrepreneur Kevin Jonas and the President of the Boston Celtics, Rich Gotham

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 21, 2015) - Best Seller TV and Executive Perspectives, two of the top online business shows on C-Suite TV, have announced their May broadcast episodes. Best Seller TV will feature an in-depth interview with David Giannetto, author of Big, Social, Mobile: How Digital Initiatives Can Reshape the Enterprise and Drive Business Results.

Best Seller TV:
In his book, Giannetto explains the three initiatives that companies are spending money on right now, but ironically, are still struggling with trying to get it right. The three initiatives are: big data, social media and mobile technology. Companies are investing significantly in these three initiatives more than ever, but have yet to see a definite ROI, despite the investment.

However, social media remains an incredibly powerful tool. Through the use of social media and mobile technology, consumers wield a great deal of power over companies and are forcing them to operate on a different level -- making them realize that what worked in the past is not going to work now. Giannetto says that companies now have to establish a relationship with their digital audience and understand that relationship, so they can start noticing patterns, which in turn can help companies shape their customers to better fit their goals.

This episode of Best Seller TV will air throughout the month on C-Suite TV and will be hosted by TV personality Taryn Winter Brill.

Executive Perspectives Season Two Premiere:
In the second season premiere of Executive Perspectives, host Jeffrey Hayzlett interviews notable figures such as former boy band member turned entrepreneur Kevin Jonas, and Rich Gotham, president of the Boston Celtics.

You may know Kevin Jonas from his days as part of the rock band the Jonas Brothers; however, the eldest Jonas is also an entrepreneur with a passion for technology. Jonas says he has always had a business mindset and took on that role while touring with his brothers, but when asked why he wanted to meet with a room full of CMO's, he said, "Everything is perception. You never know where a conversation can lead you." In his short tenure as an entrepreneur, Jonas tells Hayzlett he's learned many valuable lessons such as: make sure your tech guy is aware you're launching the project, don't launch on a weekend, one misstep with your team can undermine the entire task, and learn how to pivot -- there are a million ways to balance your company's growth.

Jonas has also launched a food app called YOOD!, a one-touch, location-based search app that gives customers the location and phone number of the highest rated restaurant closest to their location.

Rich Gotham, the president of the newly playoff-bound Boston Celtics and one of the most storied franchises in all of sports, talks to Jeffrey Hayzlett about the day-to-day operations of the sports industry, the transparency required to keep with the demands of their loyal, and vocal, fan base and "Celtic pride."

The Boston Celtics, much like the New York Yankees, are one of the brands recognizable all around the world, and they also have one of the largest social media followings in sports. The Boston fan base is one of the most passionate in all of sports, so how does the Celtics front office stay connected to their loyal season ticket holders? "Transparency," says Gotham. Every fan knows the Celtics are built to win championships -- from Bill Russell to Larry Bird, to Paul Pierce and beyond -- and keeping the fans abreast on how they are achieving those goals is key to the interpersonal relationship between the front office and the fans. Gotham also believes in treating customers like family, hiring the right people for the right job, and keeping the "Celtic pride" alive.

Executive Perspectives episodes can be seen throughout the month on C-Suite TV.

Best-selling author, speaker, and former Fortune 100 CMO Jeffrey Hayzlett created C-Suite TV to give top-tier business authors a forum for sharing thought-provoking insights, in-depth business analysis, and their compelling personal narratives.

"I am excited about this month's episodes! How often can you say that you interviewed a Jonas brother and the President of one of the most recognizable teams worldwide? The second season premiere of Executive Perspectives is definitely one for the books," Hayzlett said. "This episode of Best Seller TV highlights how big data, social media and mobile technology intersect in everyday business decisions -- regardless of industry. I want our audience to come away with the knowledge of how these 3 tenants can help impact their own businesses."
