CentriLogic Completes Second Phase of North Carolina Data Center Expansion

The Combined $4 million Investment Strengthens the Lenoir Facility's Infrastructure to Support Large Enterprise Clients and Single-Dedicated Users Alike

LENOIR, NC--(Marketwired - Apr 22, 2015) - CentriLogic, a global provider of managed hosting, cloud computing, co-location and advanced IT outsourcing solutions, today announces an enhanced 4,000 square foot space supporting enterprise hosting and cloud services within its Lenoir, North Carolina data center. The new space will be used for clients of CentriLogic's managed hosting solutions, self-service IaaS cloud hosting, and its bare metal dedicated server division, Dacentec, adding 200 racks and capacity for 10,000 additional servers.

The 4,000-square foot data center upgrade features a proprietary design incorporating a sophisticated hot air containment configuration, a modern data center technology which maximizes cooling and power efficiency, predictability and capacity. Ultimately, hot air containment results in lower server cooling and power costs, which helps keep prices competitive for customers. Dacentec's single-dedicated server customers, typically small and medium-sized businesses, benefit from low startup costs beginning at $40 per month per server.

The new upgraded space represents the second phase of improvements to the 23,000 square-foot Lenoir data center, which was enhanced in September 2014 with enterprise-class technologies and certifications suited for traditional managed hosting and co-location services. Altogether, CentriLogic's investments in the facility over the past 12 months are valued at nearly $4 million. CentriLogic owns and operates nine interconnected data centers throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, and recently achieved five-year revenue growth of 1,217%.

The Lenoir facility, acquired with CentriLogic's 2013 acquisition of Dacentec, is one of the three largest data centers owned by the company, along with the Buffalo and Rochester sites. Lenoir has quickly become a strategic location for CentriLogic's planned growth throughout the southeastern United States and North Carolina is a thriving data center mecca. The region is often referred to as the "NC Data Center Corridor" as a result of many companies constructing facilities in the area given the prevalence of affordable land, low-cost and reliable power sources, and a low risk of natural disaster.

"Our Lenoir, North Carolina facility has been pivotal to the extended delivery capabilities of our managed services and cloud offerings worldwide, and the enhancements to the facility's infrastructure have been necessary to support growing demand from local and international customers," says Robert Offley, President and CEO at CentriLogic. "With this latest upgrade, we can now deliver our entire suite of hosting services and solutions from the Lenoir facility. We're anticipating overall customer growth of 30% through the remainder of 2015."

Since CentriLogic acquired Dacentec in 2013, the company has doubled the number of physical servers deployed at the facility, has increased its local workforce by 40%, and projects an annualized revenue growth rate of 50%.
