Uniform, high-level of brightness

(Salem, New Hampshire, April 23, 2015) ProPhotonix Limited (OTC: STKR; LSE: PPIX; LSE: PPIR), ProPhotonix Limited a designer and manufacturer of LED illumination systems and laser diode modules, with operations in Ireland and the United Kingdom, today announces an addition to the SpecBright LED series with IP67 compatibility for use in harsh environments.

The IP67-rated lights are designed to work with any machine vision system and are available in a variety of form factors (area, ring and spot lights) and sizes. With their IP67-rated housing, the SpecBright LED lights are an ideal solution for harsh environments, such as the food and beverage industry, where caustic chemicals and wash-down processes are often utilized.

The IP67-rated SpecBright range offers several times the brightness of conventional through-hole or surface mount LED based illuminators and are available in ultraviolet, visible, near-infrared and white wavelengths. They can be operated in either continuous or strobe mode via Ethernet control. Power supplies, heat sinks, strobe drivers and connectors are also available.

Simon Stanley, Managing Director of ProPhotonix IRL Limited stated, "For many years, ProPhotonix has helped our customers develop custom IP67-rated enclosures. We are delighted to now offer this as a standard feature on our SpecBright range, with immediate availability."
