The launch of the CIR program follows Eastwick's new branding and marketing initiatives reflecting the company's fully integrated service offerings. Along with the program launch, Eastwick announced CMO Chris Hummel joined as the company's first CIR.

CIR brings experienced tech CMOs on a short term, rotating basis to partner with Eastwick and provide their expertise to high-growth tech clients who have a gap in c-level marketing experience within their team. CIR is a foundational pillar to Eastwick's #CMO2020 campaign, a commitment to bringing the latest CMO insights to clients and employees through industry events, research and educational series. As part of this campaign, the CIR program supports Eastwick's goal of partnering with today's modern CMO and c-level executives to understand and leverage strategies that are fundamentally changing marketing and customer engagement.

He is a globally-networked tech marketing executive with hands-on experience building organizations and business value in North America, Europe, Asia/Pacific, LATAM, and the Eastern Europe. A true global citizen, Hummel has lived, worked, and successfully led organizations around the globe, including the US, UK, Germany, Russia, China, Singapore and several other countries.

As Eastwick's CIR, Hummel will advise tech clients on strategic marketing, planning and critical issues facing high growth companies, including brand messaging, digital marketing strategy, customer acquisition and experience design, brand publishing initiatives, marketing technology investments and more.

The genesis of this program stemmed from a need among tech startups for c-level strategic marketing talent and Eastwick's dedication to gathering and better understanding the CMO's role, in order to hone capabilities and deliver stronger results for clients. Hummel will also work with Eastwick talent across all levels to discuss the role of a CMO and how communications professionals can better understand their challenges and become stronger partners.
