SPARKS, MD--(Marketwired - May 14, 2015) - Rich Forstner, an automotive collision expert with Element Fleet Management, North America's premier fleet provider, has received recognition within the automotive industry as a World Class Technician. Forstner, the newest member of the elite World Class Technician group at Element Fleet, joins recently certified technicians Freddie Castillo, Jeremy Richardson, and Lamont Burck, who serve as automotive technical leads for Element Fleet's award-winning Customer Care Center.

"Recipients of the World Class Technician Award are truly the best of the best, and the Auto Care Association is proud to recognize these professionals with National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)," said Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO, Auto Care Association. "Passing 22 ASE tests is a monumental achievement requiring exceptional knowledge and skills."

"Each member of this elite team has accomplished an amazing feat achieving World Class Certification," said Jim Halliday, president and chief executive officer, Element Fleet Management. "These technicians -- and our entire Customer Care team -- deliver on-the-spot expertise and proactive service to our customers, resulting in significant cost savings and maximum up-time for fleet vehicles."

According to the Auto Care Association and ASE, of the more than 800,000 automotive technicians working in the United States, only two percent earn the rare distinction of World Class.
