Zaandam, the Netherlands, May 18, 2015 - Ahold has repurchased 585,000 Ahold common shares in the period from May 11, 2015 up to and including May 15, 2015. The shares were repurchased at an average price of €18.3241 per share for a total consideration of €10.72 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 26, 2015.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 5,287,640 common shares for a total consideration of €96.43 million.
