OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 19, 2015) - Representatives of major federal bargaining agents and hundreds of public service employees will gather in a number of locations across the National Capital Region (NCR) on May 19, 2015 to protest the muzzling of Canada's public scientists and partisan interference in the development of public science.
In Ottawa, the main event will be held at Tunney's Pasture, where members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) and the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) will be holding mobilization and information activities between noon and 1:00 p.m.
