BRANTFORD, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 19, 2015) - Members of the media are invited to attend an important infrastructure event regarding the Laurier Brantford YMCA with Phil McColeman, Member of Parliament for Brant, on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs, and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec; the Honourable Dave Levac, Member of Provincial Parliament for Brant; Chris Friel, Mayor of Brantford; Dr. Max Blouw, President and Vice-Chancellor, Wilfrid Laurier University; and Jim Commerford, President & CEO, YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford.

Note: Attendees are invited to a site visit on Water Street following the event. Participants must bring steel-toed boots. Hard hats will be available.
